Jan 2012
Hello and Happy New Year!! 2012 looks already to be a very busy year for Pirate Boats, with a full order book and the upcoming launch of the Pirate 21CC things are really hotting up, shame the weather wouldn't do the same!!
We are looking forward to fantastic new compatible engines from both Honda and Hyundai. Honda are due to launch their all new award winning BF250 which promises to provide a great match for the Pirate 21 for the adreniline junky side of our market. This really will define the term 'fast fishing boat'!! On the flip side of the coin Hyundai Seasall launch there new 125hp lean burn, direct injection diesel inboard to compliment the already available 170 and 250. This will give fantastic fuel economy, performance and all at an affordable price. If its half as good as the 170 we had in the Pirate 21 at Southampton Boat Show last year we know it will be a cracker!
We are now in the final tooling phase of the Pirate 21CC an upsurge in orders has slightly delayed it but it is well on track to be ready for the new season. The boat will be available in both commercial and leisure spec and just by looking at the plug we can tell we already have a stylish, practical open boat which will of course have the superb sea keeping, performance and handling charactoristics of the Pirate 21 hull.
We are still finalising our itinery for this years up coming boat shows, we will not be at London but SeaWork is looking like a probability and we will of course be taking our yearly pilgramige to Southampton in early September. This time hopefully with an expanded three boat line up.
